1) The Krigarenve, Northern European Martial Arts
Interview with Vincent Enlund By Christopher Blackwell

I am constantly amazed by what I learn as I keep in contact with the various communities that make up our Pagan/Heathen communities. For instance I was not aware that the Northern tribes had their own marital arts until I found out about it from Vincent's background material. I figured that many Pagan and Heathen young men might find this interesting to know about so I asked Vincent for an interview about the Krigarenve.

Christopher: Could you give us a little information about yourself and and what path you follow?

2) The Temple of Cybele
Interview with Temple founder, Priestess Jean, By Christopher Blackwell

While our Modern Pagans have have restarted worship of the old gods and goddesses, many may worship several gods or goddesses, sometimes different ones of different situations. Some may mix gods and goddesses from different cultures and pantheons.

But some choose to stay within a single culture and some even specialize in a single goddess or god. Often they choose to research as much information about their deity and about how such a deity was worshipped, at least as far as information is available. How would that differ from some of the rest of modern Paganism?

3) Creating a Pagan community
Interview with Tammy Bazzle By Christopher Blackwell

It is not uncommon to find yourself seemingly alone as a Pagan. So what if you search around and find no listing of Pagans and events in your area? What could you do?

As a solitary Tammy Bazzle found herself and others in this situation and here is what she did about it. I caught her right in the middle of getting ready for a Pagan Pride Day.

Christopher: Okay most of us have found ourselves solitary and not much aware of if there were other Pagans around. What was you first awareness of others in your area?

Interview with Colleen Deatsman By Christopher Blackwell

I heard about Colleen Deatsman from a member of one of the forums I take part in. He described her as awesome shamanic healer and teacher. So with that recommendation I contacted her and asked for a interview.

Christopher: Could tell us a bit about yourself and perhaps how and why you got into counseling? Do you follow any particular religious path?

Colleen: It was destiny that brought me to counseling.

I am an avid outdoor enthusiast, growing up camping, mushroom hunting, hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hiking, fishing, hunting and exploring the wilderness with my family and friends.

5) Witchcraft: superstition or religion?
By Damon Leff

In October this year a 77-year-old woman accused of witchcraft was burned to death in Needs Camp near East London. [1] Three other family members were forced to flee their own community for fear of being attacked as well. Also in October, a 60 year old Nepalese woman, Somani Devi Sardar, was forced to eat human excreta for allegedly practicing witchcraft. [2] In Uganda two families in Mubende and Mityana district were attacked and driven from their homes after being accused of practicing witchcraft. [3]

6) Wiccan Author, Teacher, Speaker
Interview with Mike Nichols By Rev. David Reffit

I first met Mike Nichols in 1997. He was asked by my High Priestess and teacher, Lady Shyra, if he could come in and speak. He agreed. I met him and spoke with him. I was awed by his knowledge and his down- to-earth attitude. I searched the BBS’s and PodsNet (before the internet boom) and found and read everything he wrote. (I still have all those papers.)

Now 12 years later, I am privileged and proud to call him friend.

When Christopher Blackwell put out a call for interview ideas, I was glad to help. So I called up Mike and asked if I could interview him.

7) Wiccan Warrior in a War Zone
Interview with Shadow By Christopher Blackwell

Ideas for interviews may come from just about anywhere and one came to me from Witch’s Voice, in an essay titled “How I Maintain My Spiritual Practice in a War Zone.” by Shadow.

So I E-mailed Shadow and that was how this interview came to be.

Christopher: Could you tell us a bit about yourself?

Shadow: I am from Southern California and have lived there for the majority of my life. My exploration of metaphysical topics, paganism and magic began through reading books by authors such as: Paul Huson, Scott Cunningham, Sybil Leek, Janet and Stewart Farrar, Phillip Cooper and William Gray.

Claude Lecouteux, a former Professor of Medieval literature and civilization at Sorbonne in Paris, France, takes us exploring the old German, Scandinavian and some Celtic views about ancestors, the dead and their place in the lives of their descendants.

Starting with medieval literature, he works back to the sagas to show how the coming of Christianity required the church to kill off the idea of worshiping ancestors and separating forever the living from the dead.
